Our History

Fred M. Luth & Sons, Inc. is a fourth generation family owned and family operated business. The firm was founded by Fred M. Luth in 1920 and has operated continuously since that date. Fred M. Luth’s sons, Fred J. and Louis (both now deceased), joined the firm before it was incorporated in 1947. Louis Luth’ sons, William and Robert, later undertook operation of the business (Bob is now retired). Today, the firm is run by Bill Luth and his son, Michael. Mike Luth represents the fourth generation of the Luth family operating Fred M. Luth & Sons, Inc.

Originally founded as a well drilling company, the firm branched into construction of water lines, sewer lines, and other related areas of work shortly after (the firm no longer drills wells). Today, Fred M. Luth & Sons, Inc. specializes in open cut and trenchless installation of sanitary sewers, storm sewers, forcemains, and waterlines. The firm also performs earthwork, pump station construction, installation and maintenance of stormwater treatment / detention systems, and site development.
